Lumixa Light Therapy

Lumixa Light Therapy is an innovative phototherapy system developed by FB Dermatology. Fluorescent Light Energy (FLE) activates biological processes and stimulates the skin's regeneration mechanisms. Lumixa uses the entire light spectrum.

Blue light targets bacteria and has anti-inflammatory effects.
Green light targets fibroblasts and induces healing processes.
Yellow light reduces redness, and swelling and boosts circulation.
Red light boosts blood circulation and increases collagen production.

Improvement

Fluorescent light therapy is suitable for all skin types. There are two Lumixa treatment options available.

Lumixa Skin Normaliser: Targets redness, inflammation, and early signs of aging, providing a revitalizing effect.
Lumixa Collagen Booster: An anti-aging treatment that improves skin density, texture, fine lines, and pore size.

Lumixa stimulates regeneration mechanisms and collagen production. This treatment also acts as a “skin gym”. It reinforces natural defence mechanisms and promotes overall skin health.

Expected Results & Recovery Time

Lumixa Light Therapy is a non-invasive and pain-free procedure that requires no downtime. The standard Lumixa treatment protocol consists of one weekly session for five weeks.

Risks & Side Effects

Slight erythema and heat sensitivity may occur, particularly in sensitive skin. It is recommended to avoid using retinol (or vitamin A) during treatment to prevent sensitivities.

After Lumixa treatment, you may experience temporary “bronzing” of the skin. In some cases, temporary darkening of freckles, sunspots, and pigmentation may occur.
